Diomede

CLASSIC WINES

Description

The birth of pure Vermentino “Diomede” represents yet another challenge for Tenute Coppadoro.

The proximity to the splendid Gargano coasts and the significant influence that sea winds have on Vermentino grapes characterize a product of extraordinary elegance and involving aromatic freshness.

After the cold maceration, the soft pressing of the skins gives life to an extremely clean organoleptic must, which carries out the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The result is a straw yellow wine with greenish reflections, with crunchy spicy hints of Mediterranean scrub, among which sage, citrus and white flowers stand out.

On the palate it shows a well-defined character, sweetly accompanied by a savory mineral freshness.

Combinations

Find the ideal combination with most fish-based dishes; exceptional with sea bass in a salt crust, it also goes very well with fried seafood and crustaceans.

Its strong personality makes it a kind companion even for meat-based first courses.
